remembrances

They were like
fossils
her feet

They took part in

Deep
grooves

playful folds

and

silence

like a drought.

Her elbows

or
"billbows"
said in a french accent

could be molded into wild
creatures

A pinch of skin between the fingers^

a world

a bird

a home

Hand held rivers

and

in winter

dewdrop nose
would freeze like
icicle...

I did not forget
don't worry.

  2. You have the true heart of a poet. I've loved all your poems, but this one resonates in ways only some of us can understand.
